Shipping

Each piece is made with care, and we want it to arrive just as intended.

Production
Standard lead time is 6–8 weeks. Occasionally, we'll have certain products or components in stock, which can shorten this timeframe. If you're working toward a deadline, let us know — we'll do what we can to make it happen.

Shipping to the U.S.
Once complete, orders travel from our workshop in South Africa to our warehouse in New Jersey — about 4 weeks in transit. Listed prices include shipping to our New Jersey warehouse.

Stateside Delivery
Delivery to your address is quoted separately and confirmed with you before your order is processed. Once we have your delivery details, we'll provide a final delivery cost and timeline. Standard service is curbside; if you'd prefer white-glove delivery (inside placement, unpacking, or installation), just let us know and we'll quote accordingly.

Access
If your delivery address is tricky to reach — narrow roads, gates, or multiple flights of stairs — please tell us in advance so we can plan accordingly.

Delays
We do our best to keep things on schedule, though international shipping and customs can occasionally cause delays. Our priority is that your piece arrives safely and in perfect condition.

Returns & Exchanges

Because every item is made to order, we don't accept returns or exchanges unless something goes wrong in transit.

Reporting an Issue
Please check your piece when it arrives. If it's damaged or incorrect, let us know within 7 days at info@dokterandmisses.com, and include a photo of the issue and a photo of the packaging.

Refunds
If a return is approved due to damage or error, we'll issue a refund to your original payment method once the item is received and inspected.
